Just in time for our anniversary kick-off weekend, a member of the Scarsdale Historical Society recently wrote a piece on a discovery made: James Whistler, whose mother lived nearby and worshiped at St. James, drew our church just after it was built (1852/53). We are so thankful for each and every pledge made to St. James. Ongoing financial contributions from parishioners are how Episcopal churches operate.
